Commencement of Production from Halini- Deep
MPCL has achieved another milestone by putting the newly discovered well Halini Deep-1, in Karak Block, KPK/Punjab on production as of 12th May 2016. Initially, the production commencement project was anticipated to be completed within 30 days. However, due to highly efficient planning and engineering work, the Company was able to execute the Project in less than 15 days.
The well is presently producing approximate ±1,595 barrels of crude oil and ±1.33 MMSCF gas per day at 32/64 inch choke size with well head flowing pressure of 800 psi. The flow rates are stable.
