MSU completes acquisition of 528 sq. km. 3D seismic data in Sujawal Block
After successfully completing its ‘maiden project’ of 1,079 sq. kms. 3D seismic data acquisition in Mari Field, MSU has achieved yet another milestone by acquiring 528 sq. kms. 3D seismic data in Sujawal Block. Despite additional coverage area of approximately 120 sq. kms and numerous challenges pertaining to terrain, land permitting, water bodies and security; the project was completed 25 days ahead of the schedule. During the data acquisition campaign, MSU also set up a production record of 1,014 shots in a day: a new benchmark that has never been achieved previously in Pakistan’s seismic industry where majority are foreign players. These achievements bespeak focused professionalism and continuous hard work from each and every member of the MSU crew.
