Top 25 Companies on Pakistan Stock Exchange for the Year 2017
For the first time in MPCL’s history, the Company has been included in the Top 25 Companies on Pakistan Stock Exchange for the Year 2017.
The Top Companies Award was first introduced by the Exchange in 1978 with the aim to sift the best from the rest. The criteria for the year 2017 included;
- Capital Efficiency
- Profitability
- Free-Float of Shares
- Transparency
- Corporate Governance & Investors Relation, and
- Compliance with Listing and Securities Regulations.
On the basis of the scores obtained in each segment, MPCL has been placed at No. 16 among companies currently listed on PSX.
The Award is recognition of the Company’s outstanding financial performance, and excellent managerial/ governance practices.
Further, the Top 25 Companies Award of PSX is one of Pakistan’s premier corporate recognition awards and winning this accolade says a lot about the quality of the organisation and the strength of the management team of the Companies being ranked among this prestigious list.
