MPCL Wins 1st Prize for Best Management Practices at 36th Corporate Excellence Awards
For the 5th consecutive year, MPCL has won Corporate Excellence Award (in Oil & Gas Sector) for the Best Management Practices.
The Award was conferred at 36th Corporate Excellence Awards Ceremony arranged by the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) today (October 28, 2021) in Karachi.
The Corporate Excellence Award was instituted by MAP in 1982 with the aim to recognise and honour companies showing outstanding performance and demonstrating progressive and enlightened management practices.
The evaluation for the Awards comprised of four phases i.e. (i) shortlisting on the basis of dividend pay-outs during the last three years (ii) detailed financial assessment (iii) review of management practices, and (iv) management interviews. The evaluation was carried out and the results were compiled by a neutral third party consultant hired by MAP.
MPCL first qualified for the Awards in 2016-17 (on the basis of dividend pay-out) and since then has emerged as a winner in the Oil & Gas Sector every year.
The Managing Director, Mr. Faheem Haider complimented all employees of the Company for their dedication and contributions, which made this achievement possible and urged them to continue with their best efforts in every sphere of the Company operations to maintain the distinction of being a premier corporate entity in the Country.
