Learning and development is an ongoing process and continues throughout a professional’s career. MPCL conducts comprehensive training need analysis and arranges various trainings (foreign & local), international seminars and visits to polish the skills of the workforce and strengthen their weaknesses and minimizes gaps between individual and required job competencies. Professional & career development increases job satisfaction, morale among employees, employee motivation, efficiencies in processes resulting in financial gains and reduces employee turnover.
In House Lectures & Discussions
MPCL has a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing, in view of the same around the year numerous in house lectures, workshops and seminars were conducted. MPCL has also optimally utilized its internal resources for several technical and soft skill lectures like Global Energy Security and Dynamics of Oil Trade, Politics and Economy of Energy Sector: Opportunities & Challenges, The Impact of Attitude on Professional & Personal Life etc.

Leadership Trainings:
To develop the leaders within and ensure future competitive advantage, MPCL spends considerable amount of time and effort on identifying and developing leadership talent by exposing the employees to best Leadership Courses/Trainings time to time. During the year 2017-18, selected employees have attended 16 Local Leadership Trainings and 3 Foreign Leadership Courses.
Team Building Exercises:
MPCL truly believes its employees as its most valuable asset. This asset yields better outcomes when performing as cohesive units. Realizing the importance of team work, team building exercises are a fundamental constituent of MPCL’s yearly agenda.

To encourage growth and promote talent, MPCL offers a one year fully sponsored Foreign Post-Graduate Programme to professionals who are willing to apply. The individual may opt for higher education in any specialized field of his / her broad area of academic qualification.
